2013 M’s Summer Internship Opportunities:
INTERNSHIPS WILL START IN THE BEGINNING OF MAY AND GO THROUGH EARLY AUGUST. DAYS AND HOURS REQUIRED WILL VARY BASED ON THE LEVEL OF THE POSITION. YOU WILL CO-EXIST WITH MORRIS MEDIA INTERNS.
Administrative and Communications Interns:
· Operations Manager – Overseas all functions of game day and administrative functions.
· Assistant to sales & marketing coordinator: works closely with the partnership director to assist with community outreach for local business sponsors and promotions as well as putting together various marketing materials
· Social Media/Blogger: In charge of all M’s social media accounts ( ex. Instagram, Twitter) as well as providing content for the Morris Talk’ blog. Work with the photographer to post great photos, and work with the marketing coordinator for ad campaigns
· Treasurer: in charge of all finances, oversees and manages the budget, and relinquishes funds
· Website Manager: manages all web content pertaining to the M’s. In charge of posting articles and photos from the journalism department.
Game Day Operations Interns:
· Game Day Operations: assist in the day of game responsibilities.
· Assistant to Operations Manager: work closely with the Operations Manager to assist in managing ballpark operations
· Retail and Food Stand Services: sell refreshments, as sell a variety of M’s merchandise
· Athletic Trainer: help to prevent and treat injured players travel with club.
· PA Announcer: assists with in-game broadcasts
· Statistician: keep track of player’s stats and score book report to website manager

- Beat Writer: Covers all home games during the M’s season and writes on M’s website and morrisleague.com. Also travel with the M’s to cover road games covering all on the field news
- Human Interest Writer: Discover interesting stories on the M’s players managers and administrative personnel
- *Videographer (Morris Media)- Capture behind the scenes content of the M’s season. Put together short viral videos and a special end of the season project presented at the end of the season.
- *Photographer (Morris Media)- Capture unique game and atmosphere images for the M’s. Travel with the club and work with the journalists in story creation.
